The last two days, I've been fortunate enough to go on some pretty marvelous little adventures with spectacular friends. I've lived in California for a couple years now, but I haven't done much traveling or sight seeing. It was wonderful to accompany some California natives to two of the more famous areas of LA!
My friends Erica and Greg took me to Disneyland yesterday, for my very second time ever, and we had a FABULOUS time. The beginning of fall seems like a lovely time to venture to the park, as school is in session and it is therefore pretty calm, and definitely not busy! I had the opportunity to ride so many rides I hadn't gotten the chance to yet, including Matterhorn, Indiana Jones Adventure, It's a Small World (<3), Ariel's Undersea Adventure, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Star Tours, Toy Story Mania and Splash Mountain. (check me out in front on Splash Mountain... totally not amused. I hate getting wet!)
Space Mountain is still my favorite though, and it was all scaried up for Halloween! Awesome.
Have you ever been to Disneyland/DisneyWorld? What's your favorite ride there?
Then I went this morning with my good friend Alyssa to visit some sites in Hollywood. We had such a great time taking pictures, walking around, window shopping and people watching- there are some REALLY interesting folks around Hollywood- hah! We were on a bit of budget today, but I can't wait to go back soon and check out all the museums and things. The Hollywood Museum was doing a special Lucille Ball exhibit, how cool! Next time :)
