What I Wore Wednesday- Jeremiah Janeson

I feel like a bit of a wild woman in this outfit- like I should be out in the wilderness, eating bugs and killing bears with my own two hands. Like a female Chuck Norris/Jeramiah Johnson hybrid. Which reminds me, you all should go watch these two movies as soon as convenient:

Which both vaguely inspired my outfit for today. Both are amazing in totally different ways, and you should not regret watching either.

My dress is terribly wrinkled, and obviously needs to be ironed. Or something. But what kind of wild woman has the time for that, am I right?

These boots are definitely one of my favorite possessions. My husband bought them for me when we were first dating- I'd always wanted a pair but was never able to afford them, and he surprised me by taking me to the shop and having me design my own pair. They are custom fit for me, and I chose the leathers, soles, trim style and buttons. The left side has tree of life buttons all the way up the side, with a Libra button for the top, and the right side has the opposite. I designed them that way to kind of represent the delicate balance of life and earth. Cheesy? Maybe a little. But I get that way sometimes.

Look at this crazy dude we found outside while we were taking photos! I don't imagine this picture gives real perspective, but this guy was HUGE! I'd never seen a caterpillar this large in my life. I told Lucas it was like Lion King had come to life- it totally looks like the grubs Timon and Pumba eat to me! I told him he should eat it, but he told me I was gross. Probably a good call- do you see that stinger on his butt? Yikes!

  3. I love this one you, you wild woman! What I like also, is that I know you're a shorty like me, but you're still rocking the knee-length boots and they look great on you.

  5. Thanks everyone! And Jenn- totally gotcha on the knee length boots, those are hard for us shorties. It's difficult to work out the right proportions, but it can be done! <3
